    Guru Purnima Celebration Nepal 2015
    The Nepal Maharishi Foundation  and Nepal Maharishi Foundation for Vedic Culture jointly celebrated Guru Purnima 2015 in Kathmandu with a program for all Senior Pandits and Batuk Pandits with over 200 Nepal Maharishi Vedic Pandits in attendance.  Simultaneously, the 26 Pandit Gurukuls observing Maharishi Vedic Methodologies celebrated in their respective locations throughout Nepal.The Celebration in Kathmandu began at 2:00 PM with Puja to Guru Dev.Our Special Guest Speaker of the Day was Professor Bhawani Prasad Khatiwada of Valmiki College where he lectures to Masters Degree Students on Sanskrit and Vedanta.  He spoke on the importance of Guru Purnima, especially directed to our Senior and Batuk Pandits in attendance.Deepak Baskota, Chairman of  Foundation, addressed the assembly on the developments of the Maharishi Movement within Nepal and Internationally. The Event concluded with Prasad served to all in attendance.

  • International Conference Fulfilling the Goals of Religion and Culture—2011

    In 2011, the Nepal Maharishi Vedic Foundation organized an international conference entitled "Fulfilling The Goals of Religion and Culture: The Development of Consciousness for an Ideal Society.” The Conference featured Dr. Chris Crowell and Dr. Ann Crowell, international experts and Directors for Religion and Culture of Global Country of World Peace, MERU, Netherlands; and Directors for the International Program Development at Maharishi University of Management (MUM), USA. The program was inaugurated by His Excellency, Former Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand. Guest speakers presented their papers on: 1. Achieving the Goals of Religion and Culture: Creating Peace, Progress and Prosperity through the Development of Individual and Collective Consciousness and 2. The Role of Mother in Upholding Cultural Integrity, Generation after Generation. Participants of the program discussed and shared their experience on the presented topics. For Pictures Click Here.

  • International Conference on National Security and World Peace—2011

    In 2011, the Nepal Maharishi Vedic Foundation organized an international conference on National Security and World Peace. The Conference featured International Guest Speaker, Gunter Chassé, Lt. Colonel (Retd.), German Air Force Director for Defence; Director of Defence for the Global Country of World Peace. Col.     International Agriculture and Education Conferences—2010
    In year 2010, Nepal Maharishi Vedic Foundation organized international conferences on Agriculture and Education. Conferences featured international experts in Agriculture and Education from the United States, The Netherlands, South Africa, India, and from the host country Nepal. Nepali Congress Leader Sujata Koirala and the former Honorable Education Minister, Narendra Kerung, were the chief guests of the conference respectively. All participants enjoyed the informative presentations which highlighted new principles and technologies to help transform the areas of Agriculture and Education to be more in tune with Natural Law thereby helping to solve the age-old problems that have restricted progress. For Pictures Click Here.
